Thread: Hello from Philadelphia :)

Hello All, I am writing from this GREAT ice storm, hope the power doesn't go out!! I am a new wife and mother. Me and my hubby have been together for 6 years, we were just kids at 18 when we started dating. Now we are all grown up (kind of haha) we have a beautiful 5 month old daughter and she is the light of our lives We also have 2 cats and they are both characters I am a registered nurse and have a part time weekend job so I can stay at home with my baby during the week. I just recently graduated from college again with my BSN, and I am really proud of myself for finishing school through a difficult pregnancy (I was on bedrest for 4 months) and while taking care of a new baby I am still transitioning into my new role as a SAHM and wife. I used to be in school full time and work on my days off, I would go weeks without a day off. Now I spend my days singing the "itsy bitsy spider", playing on the floor, changing diapers and breastfeeding, haha. My husband and I are trying to figure out how to best handle our new life together and sometimes things can get a little rocky. I joined WH because I feel like I need a resource on alot of things that I can't talk to my friends or family about. I am a young woman still finding herself, I am strong willed, motivated, and open to change.
