I am new to this site and am hopeful that I will become inspired to lose weight.
About 2yrs ago I was at the perfect wieght for me. Ever so slowly, I started gaining while working out. My workouts consisted of 1 hour on the treadmill and lifting weights. Within about 8 months, I had gained 20 lbs. I finally was so depressed that I stopped working out which, of course, added to more weight gain. At this point have gained about 50lbs. I am unmotivated to say the least.
Today I started working out again with a girlfriend and am hopeful that we will both begin to see results soon. Our plan is 3x's/week, light weights and light aerobic. I personally would love to get back into running but I am far from being able to do that.
Staying motivated with exercise is only one factor to this. I also need to focus on eating healthier. I struggle with this and am looking for healthy meals and snacks.
