I agree CW... I love your idea...
I seem to attract stray cats all the time and my way to help is to tame them. Then I bring them to the vet, have them dewormed and neuteured and if they still love me after that they can stay with me.
So far, two strays have always come back and they sort of live in the house with me. Some others went back to the wild, but at least they can have the cat life they want and there won't be any more strays...
Love the fact that you love animals... I do to...
Ah that's sweet of you. Perheps I should someday steal your idea and try something like that for here in the US.

Annashasia I was/am a sucker for that myself.
I have saved so many animals and taken them to the vet, got them fixed and bought them home, in one instance the Nurse fell in love with the stray so she took the cat, as I couldn't at that time.
I am so convinced that they know if someone is helping them or not, (not just love) from those whom get to know us, dog or cat, bird or fish, well not sure about a fish?
