Okay, so I am currently going to college to do some upgrading, right?
well....the co-ordinator put me in....excuse my language....dumb classes.
I know,...that is a horrible thing to say, but in math....we were doing ADDITION... I did a placement test....and I was "above average"...

sorry...I guess I need to vent. Its so frustrating, because why spin your wheels in the dirt if you wont get anywhere?!
I just need like....2 classes....Math and Chem. THAT IS IT!!!

If you think the class will only cover things you already know, ask the prof if you can switch classes.

there's nothing wrong with having a few "slam dunk" classes here and there. especially if you're busy with other stuff at school & life in general. just a thought...

Will These (dumb) classes get you upgraded?

they may be dumb classes but they might cover things you didnt know

I got put in an intermediate group for maths because I was 'lazy', not because I wasn't smart enough (I used to be in the top tier). I spent that subject doodling in my book, did no work and got the highest grade possible for intermediate. I thought that was all well and good, but I took maths at college and found myself starting at a serious disadvantage since I hadn't covered lots of the assumed basics. I spent the time constantly playing catch up.

Moral of the story, get moved up.

Maybe a bit more info. How much school have you finished, and what sort of degree are you trying to get?

Yawn a lot in class... tut spordically and be the first to anwer all the questions... try that for a few lessons and then see your teacher after class and say that youre finding the lessons too easy.
