yea....we live in a 3 bedroom house....with 6 people living in it...sometimes 7.
My sister and her kids share a room...I get my own room, and my mom and step dad or course get their own room....

ooo...the 10 year old is exactly like her mom....it sucks .

OH, I need to tell you all, about my day yesterday....
I got home from school, only to see my neice holding my hamster. They know they arent allowed to go in my room where I have my hamsters, and all of MY stuff...
so I gave them ...and the 10 year old said "Ginny died, auntie"...Thats my hamster...and then I went into my room, only to find that they went THROUGH EVERYTHING...my makeup, my books, my clothes, my shoes...they left my other hamsters cage door WIDE OPEN. I was so pissed off...that I couldnt even freaking talk...I would just start bawling my eyes out.
Like...come on....

Kids are kids and they are exploring , is your hamster really dead?

I think it is not much to ask your parents that you want a lock put on your door and you have the only key.

If those children aren't going to respect your wishes, then it is the only space that belongs to you, that you can go to for you, and I'd be working out how to lock the door or else I'd be attaching a bucket and string on the other side, filled with honey or something so when they entered they were saturated in it. shhh I didn't say that.

Vent girl...let it all out....everybody needs a little ME(destress) time.Even if its only 30 minutes. Thats something your not getting. You can only do so much. there are some good suggestions here(even from the ones that cant read) Take a step back ...look and see if you can make some changes in your life style(even small ones) to help destress your life a little.

(My opinion) When we truly reach our breaking point we usually do what we have to do to make it. Your not a quitter... look at all YOU are doing (and YOU are doing it) even tho its hard you should still be proud of all YOU are doing. Those girls may not appreciate it now.... but I bet they will when their older. You may be the only role model they have.
when they are older and come up and thank you for all you have done will it have been worth it? (of course it doesnt help now)

SMILE

this is going to sound a little harsh, but you need to stop being an enabler and draw a line in the sand. something needs to give or you are going to break!

something, anything, say enough is enough and make it easier for you. One stpe at a time.

maybe like the laundry? So mom cant make it down to do the laundry, take her the unfolded clothes and make her fold them and then put them away

what about dinner? my XYL used to make each kid whatever they wanted because of the BS "picky" thing too. Too F'N bad! one meal, however many people, all get the same thing. will they gripe, yes! will you go through the extra work? better not! or else you're doing nothing but making them spoiled (especially the kids) and and yourself overworked for people who don't seem to care too much about you.

The more you do for people the more they will expect, and eventually the more they will demand!

As for your sister, it's obvious she needs professional assistance. but if you are trying your best and she's just a nutter, tell her to F off as well and just do what you know is the right thing to do.

the right thing to do includes at the top of the list, doing the right thing for yourself!
