Getting ready to go out

Girls, married or single may make a difference so I'm curious,

How long does it take you to get ready to go out on a date , first time or husband

And, guys how do you feel if you have to sit and wait a bit?

When i was at university - i had to get used to never knowing when you were going to be dragged out... so i learnt very quickly to get ready in under 30 minutes. (Shower, hair, clothes and makeup included) - Bear in mind that i was always a little red in the face from all the whizzing around.

Now, however.. i like to take about an hour and a half - which gives me plenty of time to have a glass of wine, straighten or curl my hair and apply some fake tan to my pasty legs.... I guess it depends on how long ive got though, i still can manage 30 minutes.

I have never been (historically) a primping (that is primp not pimp) kind of girl/woman. I have always taken*less than* an hour to get ready....Interestingly enough, and understandably, I do take a full hour or more NOW that I need more since I'm older. When I was single and dating, it did not change things much. I took about an hour or less. Now, It's about an hour plus some. I have to lotion and moisturize more....though I am very moist, so I am told. But I digress...LOL

Hmmm it depends where we are going and what we are doing.

If I know ahead of time and I know its going to be a romantic evening I like an hour because I will take a bath, and beaoootify myself at leisure…I like the process of it, it relaxes me

If it’s a quick casual date, 30mins

If it’s a spontaneous thing, meaning “get ready were goin to the ….” I can be ready in 10

Including shower, make-up, hair straightening, nail painting/drying time I give myself HOURS to get ready so I don't have to rush, and also because I usually have a good few outfit changes before I'm satisfied!!
