Single - Too big a wish list?

I note something that has changed dramatically about me.

Sorry my little JWB haha, but I'm looking into this...

I have a strong desire, to have someone taller than me, we have discussed this too, but the thing it does it interfere with really finding our soul mate?

I mean, single, my wish list (chandlerswish) is, me wants him to be 6ft or taller?

WT?

I mean what if my soul mate was shorter? Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman okay they didn't work out in the end but I am sure it wasn't due to height..

Do we place too much importance on that little wish list instead of only looking for SOUL... Mind, Body, Soul.

Intelligence, Excited about the body, and love the soul in other words, is that not the better way to think?

Noooo, its what makes us unique - its what differenciates us from all choosing the same 'mate'. Life partners are supposed to compliment and bounce off one another.

Im the same, i cant bring myself to have a relationship with a blonde haired man - picky, yes... unrealistic, no.

Picture yourself with a shorter man - can you see it being a successful relationship? Or would it always be in the back of your mind that youre taller than him... if so, then this is guarenteed to place a strain on the relationship further down the line.

Well my ex-husband pretented lol, before he met me that he was 5 `10 but he was probably 5"7 still married him.

I dont know honestly Miffed, cause I am a soul person.. see I was taller? Way taller especially with heels, lol, so can we define, blonde dark, tall , short? really when the bottom line is the makeup?

I still want that wish but why? Overpowering, control, what if a man shorter could give that to me?

I cant really say I have a wish list on height,haircolor or any thing like that.
For me I just wanna be happy,I want someone who is intelllligent,makes me smile when I see them coming, and can adjust to any situation life throws their way without falling to pieces .

although most women ive dated usually have darker hair I have dated blonds and red heads to.
Of course it goes without saying there has to be attraction.
But as we get older (MY OPINION) I think our lists change somewhat.
Or atleast mine have.

I think it's important for both sides. I wouldn't want to be with someone whose boxes I didn't check, as then I wouldn't be getting the love/respect/admiration/lust that I feel I should be getting from them. Just like I'd obviously always prefer my woman to check mine, slim, long hair, curly a plus, green eyes is an automatic win... etc.

I suppose there's a point you should stop comparing to your check list, if my lady ticked every box but didn't swallow, it'd be a bit dumb to move on for that reason alone...

True, but how do you know the boxes to check when you are simply viewing your "wish list" ... some of those "secrets from those boxes" don't come out as the lid is only half open...

So it's the internal things, from the mind and heart that are most important or the main on your wish list then.

It's funny Miffed - colours/heights.... yet it doesn't always work out that way, if we end up doing the above " mind/heart....
