My dear Anna, no you are not an odd duckie at all. I understand exactly how you feel.
I too have always been the kind of person that requires time to myself...in fact my soul requires it and when I dont get it I too feel smothered and feel no creative flow....not a good thing.
Creativity is the ability to illustrate what is outside the box from within the box.
