    Side note: I have a huge problem with being called hun....Or any other typical nickname women give men.

    As far as me giving women nicknames.... It is usually something that is associated with there personality

    Cabbage head is a lovey nickname in French. Wish I were kidding.
    Bug is also a pet name in certain dialects of Spanish. Ohh, languages.
    LLL, I definitely understand where you're coming from with the generic nicknames. I don't like random people calling me sweetie, baby, etc ... but here in the South, it happens a lot. When it comes to my boyfriend, though, I'm a lot more lax. Or maybe I'm just a typical woman who doesn't pay attention to him when he talks :P As long as it sounds cute, I'm happy.
