I live in California and I would like to visit New York in June. I have heard it is really humid there that time of year. The only time I have been in the humid weather was in Cabo, Mexico in August last year, it was awful. Does anyone know how the June weather in New York compares with Mexico in August?

I don't know how it compares to Mexico but New York is VERY humid, pretty much all of the time. The summer is really bad though. It's awful! But if you want to choose between a humid summer in New York or a terrible winter, I'd go with the humid summer.

sorry to disagree with you MxS but if you've ever been to mexico in the summer you would not call NY humid..

I hate to correct you Doc Rabbit. I didn't compare Mexico to New York. I said that I didn't know how it compares but I know how humid New York is in the summertime. That's all I said.

I was referring to Upstate New York. (Doc) My ex boyfriend lives there (not three hours from there Doc) and he used to complain all of the time about how bad the humidity is. I would go online and compare his weather to mine on the weather channel website. It's QUITE humid.

i also was referring to upstate NY..buffalo specifically..i guess the weather is relevent..i do not consider the weather humid..someone from oregon however may consider it so..after having visited the caribbean, i don't consider the weather here humid at all..if you elect to continue this debate TxM, i will concede that you are right..it won't be the last time that a woman has "proven" me wrong..
