Why did you come here?
So many of us on WH are...veterans so to speak. And many of us do not remember why we came here.
So why did you come here?
I came here to get help...and to vent about my psycho family but mostly my sister.
(after a year of being on here, I have met the most amazing people in my life...(little, CW, WC,Lakerat and LLL)...and love them all...oh by the way..I love this site so very much.)
I was dealing with big changes in my life including a move, divorce, legal battle with an earlier ex over my kids and more. I wanted women to talk and share with, without a lot of judgementalism. I too have found some wonderful people here.
I've always been a people watcher, facinated by what they do and why, this is a great place for that too. As an older woman I hope by sharing I can help others avoid some of the pits I've fallen into along the way.
I came here to ask a sex/medical question after I had anal sex for the first time... but stuck around for my own sanity as I was (am getting better slowly but surely with occasional relapses lol) so insecure in my relationship and wanted to be able to share my feelings.
I learned and am learning its my own self-esteem issues that have caused me to be insecure in the relationship and I thank God for finding this site and especially finding miss CW who talked me down off many self-sabotoging ledges and comforted me through the ones I jumped from.
I love reading through all the posts and if I have something to add, I do and hope that I can offer the same kind of support given to me.
Scars remind us of where we've been...they don't have to dictate where we're going.
In all honesty, I stumbled upon this site one night while searching for clarity.
I had to be a part of it.
I'm happy here.

It's beautiful that you people do....
It's a warm place, family of sorts I think, and sometimes people come and go, eventually.
I always hope it's because they are happy not because they don't want to tell anything anymore...
Cause who is XMrs, or Ace, or CW? We are different people, yet the same....
I came for teeth haha, seriously, and then got to read and wanted to write, and well here I am still reading and still writing......

i came here because i was feeling low..it was my late sister's b-day..i googled women's forum and clicked on this site..was looking to vent and maybe look for words of encouragment, but chickened out and never posted about it..sharing, even anon. not my forte..
a smart man learns from his mistakes..a wise man learns from the mistakes of others..
