Thread: Lump behind ear? not sure where to post

So this morning behind my left ear it felt kind of tender and gradually became painful. By this afternoon there was a lump the size of a pea and really hurts when touched. There's no colour no redness no bruising (definately under the skin) Its located by my jawling, in the groove thats located behind my ear. Now i got worried and started thinking this could be something serious...which it could but i googled it as well and found something saying it could be caused by an infection else where in the body. So i should mention that on the weekend i got a stretcher put in on the top of my ear ( a distance away but likely to be the cause) any suggestions or advice will be appreciated.

it is due to an infection...sometimes, an upcoming cold or cough, tonsillitis or sorethroat...get checked by a doctor as soon as possible, and while waiting to be seen, take lots of fluids, and eat some fruit rich in vitamin C and zinc...take care
