The song "Far Away" by Nickelback. If I just ignore who it's by, I really like the song.

    But man, I hate Nickelback.

    I've got to be direct

Teasing my ex boyfriend. He HATES to be teased but I can't help it. It gives me the best giggle but it gets him so fired up. It's "bush."

LOL!! Spoken like a true metalhead....I never was familiar with Nickleback's music so I can't really say.

Makes me think as much as I hate bands like Everclear and Green Day,it's hard to deny they made some really good hits. Everclear only made one good song 'Santa Monica' and I like a few of GreenDay's songs like 'When I Come Around' ,but the rest is boring.

I'm really not a Green Day fan at all. Sure, they had a couple of good songs but I just don't enjoy their music. I've never had a CD by them or a song on my computer. I don't Youtube them, nothing.

Everclear is from where I live. (Portland, OR) I actually like them way more than Green Day. Father of Mine is a great song, really makes me sad though for obvious reasons. I typically cry when I hear that song.

I'll have to checkout some more Everclear songs then. That 'Santa Monica' song is sooo good tho.

Yes, that is a great song.

    Father of Mine
    Santa Monica
    Wonderful (That's an okay one)
    AM Radio

Juat a few of their songs. Father of Mine is the best though.

Haha honestly, I don't know what my thing against Nickelback is. They're just not my thing, I don't like their style of music, usually. Although I do like Theory of a Deadman (they're usually lumped into the same category). Weird. It's not that they suck, just not my cup o' tea.

I'll admit Chad Kroeger is HOT though!

As for Everclear and Green Day, I never got too into them either. I do like "Geek Stink Breath" by GD a lot though. Their early stuff is okay, but their recent stuff has just gone way downhill.

A great song by Everclear is "Local God". I love that one.

They are one of my favorite bands! How come you hate them? A lot of their songs are sexually explicit but they make me laugh. But I'm into that type of rock so that's probably why I dig them... but everyone is entitled to their opinion. "Far Away" is a great song, very tear-jerking, but I have to be in the mood to listen to a sappy song.
