I also do that sometimes. Good to know I'm not crazy after all. Or at least that there are other crazies like me out there.

I like the smell of bath sponges.

I'm still sort of scared of the dark, but only when I'm inside. If the electricity goes out in the house or something like that I get a little freaked out and uncomfortable. But, if I'm outside the house and it's pitch black I am fine with it..

I have this issue with toilet lids. The seat and lid must always be down except when in use. I will even fix them when at friends houses. I also cannot sleep in a bed that's not made, no matter how tired I am, I will always fix the bed before sleeping. That includes when my wife has already gone to bed. I will remake the bed with her in it.

Oh, I'm also siily about my shoes. When not in use they must be placed side by side, as opposed to my wife's system of one in one room and on in another. When wearing shoes with laces, the laces must be right over left and the bows must be perfectly equal. Yep the military has done quite a job on me.

One of my " Oddities ", I am told, is I have to Recuse Everything from Insects to Humans.
Cats, Birds, Dogs, Snakes, Lizards, Turtles, Moths, Roly Poly Bugs, Crickets or Grass Hoppers . It doesn't matter, if I can help it, I will try. Though Flies and Mosquitoes are not high on my list. Just as soon Bug Spray or Fly Swat them .

Spiders I will give them a chance, meaning if they are in my home or at work, I will try to get them on a piece of paper and put them outside. If they Jump off the Paper, I just step on them . They had their Chance ! lol

People, they are another thing, If I can find a way to help them, I will. Though I do not endanger myself or my home or family. If they are out of gas on the road, I will go get them a gallon of Gas, Dead Battery, I will Jump it. Someone needs food, I'll call a Preacher friend of mine and Give them The DSHS Flyer I carry in my Car.

Unless they are Old people and or Women with Children, I do not give rides. But have given a ride to an Elderly Lady that was stranded on the road, to the nearest pay phone or Intersection. Same with Women & Kids. I get them to a Safer Area..

I Never Give Money Directly to the person asking, though I have gone in a store and bought a sandwich and drink, but only give it to the person , if I have someone else with or near me.

    Other than Homeless Dave.
And I still don't give him Money, but I will buy him Gloves and a Hat, Food and have donated a Tent & Winter Jacket, Shoes , Socks and Sleeping bag to him. And I'll usually give him some Smokes and a Lighter.
I have helped Homeless Dave for going on 5 years now. And he has Never Asked for Anything and is Embarrassed but Grateful when we do find him & give him things.
But he has gotten better, about receiving some Help from our Family. It took us Months to even learn his name .

I do not give the Person Begging the 75 cents to catch a Bus, I tell them to wait at the bus stop, when a person gets off, ( after the Bus leaves ) ask for their Transfer Ticket. Here you can transfer buses within 4 hours. You buy a Ticket for $1.50 and can ride any bus in town for the 4 hours.

I will stop and Talk with people, asking for money, outside of well traveled in and out Public places, Stores and such. . I go get the DSHS Flyers with all the #'s on it. Or the Church List.

I rescue Pets and though I don't bring them home anymore, Well maybe for a night or two. I have a list of Friends and Shelters and Vets that I can get a hold of and get help for the Pets.

Alot of people think I'm Abnormal or Odd or just plain Crazy, But I see it as Karma.
