Ha! Yeah, I'm too honest sometimes. I need a filter.

i like to take my fearsome hound for a walk, in the evening, yoga is good too, but sometimes i just veg out in front of the tv, bad trashy tv ie reality shows or soap operas are soooooo relaxing. i just had a bad week and i think vegging out in front of dvds of "true blood" (sort of a soap opera with sexy vampires) was very therapetic.

Despite what I'd prefer I never get a perfectly silent env. when meditating or doing yoga but I think the key is to try to let it go out of your mind as quickly as it goes in. When all else fails try to focus your full attention on being mindful of breathing in and breathing out.

I've honestly never been more relaxed than I was over the weekend, on Sunday. The resort we stayed at has a huge hot tub, which we used while there was a drizzly rain outside... it actually felt really cool. Then we swam a little in the indoor pool there. Once we got back to the room, I could have passed out anywhere I sat down, I felt soooo nice

But on any other day, I love reading. A good cup of coffee, or tea or even soup is good too... anything that's warm. Actually, food in general, haha. And on nights where the boyfriend isn't home, I'll throw on my One Tree Hill DVDs or something and just chill out.

    I've got to be direct

Ok this just popped into my head but a thought of something relaxing....the few minutes right after a completely satisfying love-making when you still feel warm and relaxed and satiated. Wowee.

I try to meditate...focus on myself, focus on relaxing myself. Those nature sounds cds are great for drowning out other noises. Waves hitting the beach, rain...whatever works. I've also done the Shirley McClaine meditations, aligning the chakras. Very relaxing, and very cleansing.

Of course, a good foot massage works too, and a glass of wine.

I think also just a good 'ol nap is perhaps the greatest for relaxation. I love to get a good sleep and dream deep.Wake up early and feel refreshed.
