Have you read, Gyn-Ecology? It's not rage against men, it's about the situation of women-in many cases perpetuated by women.

Jane Goodall and Sacagawea. From different times, but both leading when women weren't supposed to be allowed to do anything great.

    M. Fathima Beevi, former Justice of the Supreme Court of India - Wooo was she ever embroiled in gossip and controversy...But I always think its beyond admirable when women touch the sky in countries where they were otherwise oppressed for quite a while, and still are in many places in that nation...She was also the first female appointed as a Judge in the Supreme Court of India...

    Malinche.
The woman basically took over Mexico for Cortes, not to mention saved his life (he wasn't supposed to go to the mainland, much less take it over.) While of course the writings of the time reflect Cortes as the main man, you can see in depictions that Malinche was really the one in charge. She's a loved and hated figure, depending on who you speak to, but I can't help but admire her for her ingenuity.
