I'm usually done Christmas shopping by this time, I haven't even started yet. I'm totally at a blank this year. I have no idea what to get people. ZERO

So I thought I'd ask everyone what they want for Christmas, maybe it will give me ideas.

    Amen

I don't celebrate Holidays so... I'm sorry. I'm of no help. I guess I could say this. If I did celebrate then I would want a fancy notebook and a really good writing pen, knee-highs, makeup, lingerie, music or lotion and body spray from Victoria's Secret. The scent: Sweet Temptation or Love Spell.

I celebrate Solstice and Yule, but books always make a good gift (no surpirse that I'd think that). For kids I always looked for gifts that will be fun but also teach; S'math, Boggle, Mastermind, Upwords, Constructionary, Stormy Seas, Cranium, jig saw puzzles, legos. Games are good as a family gift too, rather than giving everyone an individual gift. For teens gift cards seem to be the best option, that lets them choose, although I've occasionally come up with some good ones like an auto detailer kit, the girls and boys liked. For older people, something they can use or use up. Who needs more knick knacks? Books, movies, specialty treats - I have one freind who gets everyone a box of premium pears, those are a wonderful midwinter treat.

I'm allowed to accept gifts because it would be rude not to after a person has put in the time and effort. I would say thank you and that would be it. I've never had this problem of receiving gifts though. I think that I've gotten one Christmas present ever, maybe two. *shrugs*

I've always heard that giving books as a gift is like handing out a chore, lol. I love books though so I would definitely take on in a heartbeat. Reading is one of my most favorite activities.
