U mean Izzy?

She basically tried to take on too much too fast when she came back to work after her surgeries/cancer treatment. She was trying to stay competitive while the hospital was making cuts due to the merger with Mercy West. She botched a couple things, and Alex asked the chief to take it easy on her. The chief ended up cutting her in the next round of layoffs. Izzy became really upset because she fought so hard during her treatment so that she could be a doctor. She blamed Alex for her getting fired and took off without letting anybody know. She just left and no one knew where she was or if she was continuing her treatment for her cancer. She wouldnt answer phone calls or anything. Everyone was in the dark about where she was and if she was okay.

Then she reappeared this last episode with her old teacher to get him help. And thats pretty much it.
