Okay, I'm back sort of

Let's define each rune and their associations as well for this one, the flower and tree association given that you are moving, this may make alot more sense..


PAST: Which also is entering into the present..

Rune: Beorc..

Beorc is the moonflower, crisp white, covers the earth with brighteness, it represents renewal, fertility and birth...I can see it growing and stretching out covering, protecting ...

Moonstone, the gemstone, is calm, harmonious, moonstone can help in romantic relationships (yours or others) and decision-making.

The tree association is the Birtch tree which is sacred to the Mother- goddess...It shows an element of protection, yet again, being "goddess" and Mother associates to you.

The rune itself:-

This rune refers to renewal, regeneration, purification, healing and recovery...In reading those words this also relates very much to the past, the journey you've taken over the past few months in that..

It is the rune of the family and the home, and represents enjoyment of sexual relations, firtility and birth...This does not mean birth of a child necessarily.. This birth can be literal or symbolic, such as the successful start of any new idea or enterprise.




PRESENT


The Flower associated to this rune is Fern, it can be used for coughs and chest complaints but only if it is prepared properly...

The Gem, associated is Catseye, the catseye protects the wearer against terrors of the night, and it is believed to attract and protect wealth..

This is interesting given travel, driving, night time...protection.



The rune: Hagal

The rune Hagal is simular to an unexpected hailstorm - an elemental distruption to your life.

Where Hagal is linked with other runes as it is here, it can suggest limitations, interruption or delay and imply a complete change in direction. It can also mean suffering hardship, illness or injury..

Yet the flower association and gem stone offer protection, and also medicine suggesting a cold, flu, with the rune, suggesting not an easy decision, influence from someone as previously written associated with suffering, hardship over this decision.



FUTURE


The gemstone associated with this rune is a Garnet.. Man's gemstone, garness, were traditionally worn as a mulets against poison and plague..

The flower associated is Foxglove, man's flower the foxglove is extremely poisonous, however ,if properly used in medicine it can help with circulatory problems.

The tree, associated with this rune is Holly, man's tree the holly is said to protect doorways from evil intruders.

This all sounds as if there is a "man" no other runes use "man" as "man's flower/tree/stone"...

And so whalla the rune means "Man" lol's sorry had to laugh when I saw that.

The rune man means human rather than male, and therefore the shared human nature within each individual. It contains a paradox that we are all part of the human family, yet unlimately we are all on our own, in life and in the final journey into death..

Humans can be distinguished from animals by their creativity, intelligence, forward planning and speech, this rune covers such mental faculties...It also implies co-operation between individuals for the benefit of common good.

This suggests that whilst we unite as family, we are walking this earth alone.... and in that, we have our independence, we will foward plan and we will speak of those plans, what is needed is the realisation of a decision is for common good, a benefit to all and an understanding that we are individuals....
