You know, I was looking at the threads and saw that you had posted here Tex. Not finding you the Twilight type, I knew this was going to be an interesting post before even seeing it.Yep, you didn't let me down. lol
Boobies or explosions? I read the book and from what I recall, at the end of the movie, there just might be an explosion but not sure on that. Boobies, it is a love story, there is always boobies.But out of the four books, this is probably the one with the least boobie scenes.
As for me, even though it is a simple read, I fell completely in love with this series. Even though Full Moon was my least favorite, I read all four hundred and some odd pages in a day and a half because I had to get to the ending. I rarely ever finish a book this fast. I say rarely because some Jodi Picoult books have gotten me to read that fast.
But as for the movies, I was leary to see the first one, thinking that they could never do anything worthwhile that would compare to the book. And when I saw the movie, I thought just that. I would have prefered more experienced actors, to say the least.
Anyways, even though I loved the books, I don't think I'm going to see the movie any time too soon. I guess maybe I'm a picky one but I feel the movies never does the book any justice. And since those books were one of my all time favorite, I can't bear to watch the movie. Something about Edward, I fell head over heels in love with him.
But that is just my opinion. Don't mind me. Everyone who does go, have fun.

I think Robert Pattinson is a terrific actor... man, anyone see Little Ashes??
I haven't seen New Moon, but I think the first movie had a LOT of unrealized potential. I think they just rushed to make this, making do with a tiny budget (which can sometimes work, but I don't think it did for them)... For a series this popular, I think they could have put more effort in. I dunno.
Would like to see New Moon but prob not in theaters. I don't think I can find a friend to see it with.If I were 12 years old it'd be different I suppose.
I agree with you. I think that there could have been a much bigger effort but they did what they did, no going back.

The reason why I watch the Twilight series
OH OH OH - I went and watched it Friday!!!
Thought it was a lot better than Twilight, but still not as good as the book, but yeah, it was good.
