Question, when you are banned do you send out an email to the person when the ban is lifted or is the time first established

Can't speak for WH, but I know in one forum when you try to log in you get a little pop up saying that you've been banned and that you should contact a certain email address for more information or appeals.
I know cause I got banned by accident once, when a mod clicked on the wrong username.
If you are banned, you can't see the forum when you log in. You see that you are banned, the reason why, and when you can return.
