So, what is your top (or top few) places you most enjoy staying - especially for a romantic sort of trip: (preferably places where we can grab photos from google images).

    I'll start with:

    Wengen Switzerland (best mountains)
    Venice Italy (best walking city)
Las Vegas (most over-the-top silly city)

Oh gosh I was only in Austria for a week but felt like I could spend a year just walking around, enjoying the scenery, the kind people, the easy to navigate streets and subways... sigh... I guess it also helped that I went there with the most incredible looking man I have ever been with. Never mind that we had nothing to talk about, but I digress.

If my luck holds up, in a few months' time I will be moving (for the first time) to New Zealand. Possibly the most overall beautiful place in the world.

Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away! You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You’re on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the guy who’ll decide where to go.

I'm into all the shopping and the big city buzz, so I really loved London, and I would love to go back there again next year! Saint Angel, you are joining me

As far as cities, definitely Boston and London!

Ugh, now I have all these random places popping up in my head. I guess I have a lot of favorite places.

    Mes_T: New Zealand is fantastic.

LanaBear: for cities, I think I'd take Rome (as long as you don't try to drive!). The more places I hear about, I keep changing my idea of what is my "favorite".

I haven't had the opportunity or pleasure to travel. I've only been to Washington, Oregon, Idaho and California. I would love to go to Ireland, Amsterdam, Rome, Greece, Boston and New York but not necessarily New York City. Upstate New York but that's just because that's where the love of my life lives.
