Being an animal lover, I'm curious what animals you own (or that own you, haha). Post pictures if you have them handy...I don't at the moment bc I'm typing this from my Iphone. I'll post pictures when I have Internet back on my computer.

I have a Calico cat lying on my stomach as I type. Her name is Cali and she is 10 years old. I also have a 10 year old Ragdoll cat named Blue, but he is living with my mom right now.

I also have a sweet Oranda goldfish (white body and orange hood) named Pumpkin. I think he's pushing 3 years.

3 cats - two are orange tabbies and are brothers named Cheeto and Mooshu (the little girls we got them from named them). My boyfriend saved from a pretty dismal farm life where the litters of kittens all died pretty much every year. They're both almost 5 yo now. The other cat is a Siamese named Marcel who is almost 2, that's my little furbaby.

A black lab who is going to be 4 years in June, named Duke. Big, dumb, and the sweetest animal you would ever meet. Don't try to rob my house, the dog will lick you to death.

And a 75 gallon aquarium full of 6 big fat goldfish, unnamed. They are all around 4 years old, but one is currently on his death bed... sad to watch

I don't have pics on my work computer, but if I think of it later tonight I will post some pics

Nawww so cute!!! Yes, I would love to see pics, especially of Duke!! Labradors are absolutely amazing dogs!!

I'm a dog lover, but sadly I don't have any pets. My mom doesn't allow pets in her household, unfortunately.

So the first thing to do when I move out is either get a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a Labrador or Golden Retriever.
    I love the kind-natured dogs...absolutely beautiful!

We have a miniature poodle we rescued from a kill shelter.

We got really lucky. We had to put down our shi tsu in June and within a couple of days we saw her.

Thats funny Nix, that is exactly what my boyfriend did! His parents would allow pets in their home either - they told him he was allergic so he couldn't have them (was not true - either they lied or he grew out of his allergies). When he moved out the first thing he did was get the two kittens, then a couple months later he got a puppy.

My neighbor has a CKC Spaniel named Tia, and wow - what a personality for such a little animal! Adorable..

Pretzel - good for you for adopting from a kill shelter! That is where my Marcel came from as well. I don't think people realize just what a service they are doing when they rescue. Maybe I am wrong, but I feel like the animals that come from shelters have a sense of gratefulness about them (maybe that's just me personifying, but whatever...). And there are so many rescue programs for specific breeds that anyone looking for a breed in particular can go to the rescues, not necessarily a breeder or a pet store.. (don't even get me started on pet stores....). Sorry to hear about losing your other dog. There is little more heartwrenching than that - they are family!

Omg!!! My mom tells me she is allergic too, and that's also supposedly why I couldn't get a dog, but when I tell her that she wouldn't even need to go near it, she comes up with all these other excuses as to "what will we do with it when we go on holiday and blah blah blah!" Its not like we ever even go on holiday! I always knew the allergy thing was a lie though, just so that I can't have one!

    Certain breeds are hypoallergetic.

Shi Tsu's, poodles I know for sure.

I was tricked into getting a cat (hustled by my two daughters, my mother and my cousin actually) It is a garfield cat..lol Seriously its a Tabby. Funny story, they kept telling me it was a girl. So they named the cat Ms. Kitty Kitty Meow Meow aka Friskaay. Until I looked at its undercarriage and saw the balls. Now the cats name is Bonito aka Thug Lyeph. I spell it the way we say it lol. Its not that I don't love pets I do but cats have personalities and tons of attitude. We have had to get a collar with a bell because he is so slick and moves quick. I should have named him shadow!

I'm shopping around for a dog right now as well. I want a American Staffordshire Terrior, or German Rockweller (i'm sure I have spelt that wrong) I love BIG dogs! Anywho the thing I love about the cat and what really made me take him is watching him fight the dog...NO FEAR...so I figure if i'm going to have a cat i'm going to have a cat that can fight..lol

I will post pictures later today
