i think that doing what you have a passion for is a double edged sword. at certain times i have been able to do what i enjoyed for work (easy on the dirty thoughts you!), but after awhile it became just work and i found i didnt like it as much anymore. even after changing jobs i never really got the feel back for either of those things.

maybe that's just me, or only applies to things you can as a hobby or for employment, but i dont think so.

I think sperosi may have something. I love to sew and do just anything with fabric or fiber. While I've taken a few classes; pattern making, tailoring and window coverings, I'm mostly self taught. It's just something I have a feel for. Several times I have done it as a business, I trademarked my own lable once and have taught classes. But whenever I had to do it, I lost interest, it ceased to be fun or pleasure and became a drudgery. I do it very seldom now. I'm not sure, but I think it has to do with taking the creative element out of it.

I have a really keen interest in earth based housing and building, have had as long as I can remember. Somehow I've never done anything with it other than read, talk and look at other people's creations. Since I've been rethinking my life recently, this is something I feel strongly I will have to do something with. Someday if you read about an 80 yr old woman who is hand building a cob house - it may be me.

Another area I am passionate about and becoming more focused with, is sacred sexuality. The old model of frigid woman, phillandering man, didn't work out well, the newer porn sex approach seems doomed to miserable failure, what we need a more balanced, connected, caring, fun attitude toward sex and relationships. I think of it as sacred sex just for lack of a better term, although what currently passes under that name is often a bit flakey for me.

I have a great deal to achieve yet and expect to have another good 50 years to do it in. But I do need to get busy!

Not my thing, although I do think it should be legal and protections in place for the service providers. I'm concerned with relationships and attitudes between people. I think the world would be a much better place if every adult had an emotionally connected orgasm every day.

Good question... I enjoy my job now... Is it what I was meant to do? Not sure.

Once upon a time I was a travel agent, I enjoyed it, but felt it was a dead end. Then I did Event Planning, which I REALLY enjoyed. It satisfied my control freak tendencies, it's nice to spend other people's money and I can throw a heck of a party.

I took a DRASTIC departure and risk from my comfort zone to do what I do now, I make good money and I enjoy the challenge. There are times when I want to ring someone's neck or toss them out the window, but oh well, I'll live.

So, all in all, not sure, but I have also wanted to always own a little coffee bar, completely casual and homey, couches, tables, awesome music, just a real mellow atmosphere. Kind of different, but I've had the sketches and the layout in my brain for years now.
