I wasn't sure where exactly to post this thread, so I guess it's the Lounge!
So, do you ladies know how to defend yourself? You should, it's important! I thought, me being a martial artist, I could start a topic on this & give some pointers.
So, Lesson # 1: How do you get out of a bear hug? (someone grabs you from behind & wraps their arms around your body, pinning your arms to your sides). Let's see who comes up with the best answer, then I will give my answer for you to practice.

I think you stomp the foot, and when he releases your arms because of the pain (hopefully) you swing your elbow up into his nose or something. I saw a self defense thing like that on tv once.

Hehe, what you see on TV or the movies isn't real, it's staged and isn't guaranteed to work every time. What if the person is wearing steel-toed boots? In that case a foot stomping wouldn't do a thing. Let's hear some more answers ladies!
