Mine has to be Dangerous Liaisons absolutely love it the characters are just so unbelievable especially Marquise the perfect product of the Parisian heirarchy in the 18th century, just love it The quotes are amazing in it I'd really recommend it to anyone who loves a saucy, manipulative, deceptive novel .
    What's yours?

I read too much to have a fav or even several. But there are books/authors I read and reread; Heinlein, Austin, Conan Doyle, William Morris, E.S. Gardner, Redfield- to name a few.

I read alot also. No one favorite but I've always loved reading the late Molly Ivins. She really was a gem and her political satire (or Texas politics as it's called) is really interesting.

    No offense Tex

That is a hard one. I can't give you just one.

I read so much. Jodi Picoult is one of my favorite authors. She knows how to write a page turner with some pretty controversal topics. I find that her later books are much better than her first books. Her earlier books drag some. Of the ones that I read so far, I remember I read some really good ones. I remember The Pact, I could barely put that one down. Plain Truth and Perfect Match were good also. My Sister's Keeper was one of the very first books that I had ever listen to on CD. It was my very first Jodi Picoult book and I liked that one also. But I think the Pact was the best one that I have read of hers so far. There are still some of hers that I haven't read yet. I don't keep up to date with hers so there are some of her books that have been out for a while that I still haven't read yet.

But then there was the Twilight Books. Never would have thought it but I fell in love with those books. I think those are my favorite books of all time.

Then there is the Harry Potter series. I didn't read them but listened to them on CD with Jim Dale as the narrator. They were unabridged copies, so I guess I could say I listened to the book while Jim read them to me. I loved those books so much!!

Recently I started to listen to the Lord of the Rings on CD but it is putting me asleep. Maybe because Jim Dale is so good as a narrator that someone else now puts me to sleep. But I think it is also the book itself. I think Harry Potter spoiled me because I just can't get into the Lord of the Rings, which is a disappointment because i was looking for a replacement to listen to, now that I'm finished with Harry Potter.
