Getting sent to Singapore on business...

Looks like in a month I'm off to Singapore to do a couple of days work, so I'm going to take a week or so off and go exploring... I have absolutely no idea what to do while I'm there though... Other than chasing the local girls around - "Ya hi I'm a rich westerner here on business and you're very pretty"

(The idea of me being somewhere 'for business' still makes me laugh)

Any ideas?

Wrong country for hot poor asian girls Singapore is very rich county the size of the isle of white.

Don't know much about Singapore, except it has loads of rules like no chewing gum and it's a bit clinical. Should be interesting if your into excolonial history

Personally i'd get a cheap flight to a neighbouring country check out orangu-tans in Borneo or a bit of jungle in Thailand

Go to a Travel Agency and get a booklet and talk to them and see what everyone else does when there.

Be careful late at night in your drunken state, you know, white boy in dark territory

So, know how the transport works thoroughly and keep your money in a safer place than your pocket, even from the girls young man.

Hope I didn't scare you............but have the bestest time and fantastic that you landed a job that makes you travel as well, way to go.

Singapore was (maybe still is) famous for extremely strict enforcement of local laws. Really really really don't break the law - even in a minor way until you see if this is still true. I'd be careful with any sort of nightlife until finding out the local laws (Singapore isn't Bangkok or even Tokyo).

I haven't been there, but have heard there are some really nice parks and gardens in the city.
