    Let's all keep those in the path of the Tsunami in our hearts today! My cousin lives in Hawaii and we are just watching the coverage right now hoping for the best....Newhere808 is also in Hawaii...

    I understand New Zealand has already been struck as well.

    It is ongoing...it has been continuing..

    214 dead in Chile from the earthquake...Hilo Bay has buoy activity of 3 feet but they do not know how high other waves may get.

    They said it may go to 8 feet but only time will tell...on CNN.com they are showing the reef becoming revealed as the water is being sucked away...

    Newhere and I have definately been in touch all day.He doesn't seem worried,and thinks that it will just pass. I hope the Australians are doing okay..

    Sorry for the late update, things have at least been called off for Hawaii, fortunatley tsunami's don't typically hit here with any magnitude, though I feel for those in Chile. We had an earthquake her just outside Kona (Big Island) last year that fortunately only caused some damage and flooding.

    Sucks when natural disasters screw things up
