Ok I'm not sure if I am putting this in the right section so if not I'm sorry. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about computers to tell me about my cursor while i am typing it skips around ALOT I usually while I'im typing it skips around and i have to stop and reclick the cursor to where i was typing. I thinkt it's something i might be hitting or I hit a button on my keyboard that makes my cursor go in the middle of another word or sentence. It is so annoying to be typing along then having to stop then back space and retype my words again Anyone have this happen to them? I use Modezilla and Internet Explorer mostly. I am not sure if it's a button on my keyboard or what? I use a laptop by acer. Just trying to figure out why it does this. Anyone can get me some tips or opinions maybe why this happens to me. I am a very fast typer by the way maybe that has something to do with it also. I'm not sure though?

Do you use a touch pad or mouse? If you use a touch pad, often people end up touching it with their wrists or some other part of the hand on accident while typing. Try to type cautiously for a little while and see if that was actually the problem.

aarrggghhh!!! i HATE when my cursor does that. Im on a lap top, so obviously the cursor is very sensitive. if it happens to me i usually restart the comp. that helps. or if that doesnt help, throwing it against the wall cetainly does

It's nothing to do with speed of typing, rather touching the cursor on accident.

Try just using a mouse for the laptop.

I figured out why it was doing the jumping around. It was my toolbar from google. Note to people. if your computer cursor just around and you get the not responding error it could be your google toolbar. Just wanted to let people know

Glad you found your answer. I used to have the same problem and it was that i kept touching the touchpad. Very annoying. On many laptops now there is the functionality to tuen off the touchpad to stop this happening
