We're wanting to venture into the world of wax play and I'm wondering if anyone here has found some good 'low heat' candles? I bought some from a local adult shop only to find the colour was only on the outside, the inside was white. We're wanting some that will drip in different colours. Would need to buy online as we're in Australia and I doubt there's many Aussies here!

    Ah - good luck.

They generally do not have colored 'massage' candles because for some reason the die doesn't mix well with the ingredients that are use for the massage/sex type of candles. Most low temp candles are soy based because the required melting temp is a lot lower.

I did at one point see some colored soy candles on Eden Fantasys website. You may want to see if they still have them. Try searching 'colored massage candles'.

There is a great website that has a huge selection of wax play candles. I love the bright blue its my favorite actually. Anyways the candles are made especially for wax play low temp and doesn't pull your hair. I love creating special designs with a paint brush and keeping them they have some in jars for that.

Anyways check them out (EDIT outbound link)

The regular candles aren't so bad, I've done it with those. It only feels hot for a second, and you get used to it. But I guess it depends on your pain tolerance.

i've just had regular candles used on me, like Kris said the burn goes away fast, it makes you flinch when the drop hits you, and it feels kinda sensual too..

You've probably been cautioned, but just in case, don't use beeswax candles, they are much to hot!

    Otherwise have fun!
