I read and respond to almost any post here on the forums, but there are certain subjects that draw me more than others.

So what about you guys? What are type of posts, subject matters that get light bulbs, bells and whistles going off in your head with things to say?

Also what issues, subject matters have you tired of, have zero interest in, or just don't even bother reading sometimes as you feel you'd having nothing to add?

    For me:

    Posts that suck me in:

    • People with lots of weight to lose
    • Vegetarian discussions
    • Porn in relationship Issues
    • Infidelity situations
    • Penis situations (lol that sounds weird -- but hey the topic of what those things do never siezes to amaze me)

Posts that I tune out on:

    • First time sex issues
    • Female orgasm posts
    • Gimicky weightloss pills/tricks etc
    • Recipes ( I am a HORRIBLE cook LOL)

    I usually avoid :
Spotting/late period - we've beaten it to death and then some
Could I be pregnant- we've beaten it to death and then some
    Weight loss pills
    beauty/shoes/various clothes/purses
    TV shows/reality shows/celebs

    Usually read threads about:
    Sex
    family issues
    relationship matters
    humor

Pretty much the same for me, although I'm pretty sure it's for different reasons.
There will always be boundries, but making love is so different, than having sex, let's face it. CW

I think I usually try to read the ones on dating issues (feel like I've seen it all )
    Relationship issues
    Nutrition
    Weight Loss
Sex issues (more so with trying things or how to relax, etc)

    I zone out on:
    Anything involving marriage (usually)
    Issues with children
    the whole pregnancy thing

    Avoid:
    Porn threads
The "I'm on the pill, used a condom, took Plan B, but I think I'm pregnant." - Sometimes I'll respond, sometimes not, but they do frustrate me.
    Beauty section in general

    Attention:
    Family (marriage, husbands, kids, etc)
    Pregnancy
    Sex

With all that said, I do pretty much read every post, just don't really respond to everything. A lot of times it depends on the circumstance of the poster. If it's a naive teenager wondering about her period or sex or pregnancy, I put on the game face and reply. I was there once, never wanting to talk to my mom about stuff like that, so I'm a bit more tolerant of those circumstances than others.

Me too Lana, as a Mod, I glance through most everything - time permitting, esspecially those areas most likely to generate spam. But some topic areas generate too many threads where I'd have to bite my tongue, so I leave them alone.

I will really respond to almost anything if I think I have something of value to contribute, as HD said.. but there are some general ones that I usually always respond or always avoid..

    Relationship Issues/Questions
Anything funny in The Lounge, games, jokes, surveys, etc
    Family Issues

Posts that I tune out on:

Almost all pregnancy questions, especially "My period is 30 minutes late, am I pregnant?"

I think Wild hit it on the head with this...I don't watch reality shows, I don't want to go anywhere near anyone that is pregnant etc. Plus as CW always tells me....research before you post!

haha I had a feeling I was not the only one that is almost blind to certain topics (unless suspected spam of course :P) And there are topics I know I am probably going to have something to say to just by reading the title!

Rawr at no clue to the subject in the subject line lol. Especially when I do the hover trick and the first few lines still show no clues :P

I seem to be all over the place but sex questions are probably the ones I'm most likely to answer. Go figure.
