Thread: Help Understanding Fantasy Role Play

I've not engaged in fantasy role playing before and only have a general knowledge of what it looks like. I'm hoping for a little expert advice from people more educated in this area then myself.

My SO had a brief affair with a woman a year ago(another story for another time). He's given me lots of details about the affair but there's one point I'm stuck on...He told me that he and his affair partner had a daddy/little girl fantasy. This is ALL he's told me about it:

He said it started with innocent back and forth general emails acknowledging they had the same fantasy. They expressed to one another how they'd never before shared their fantasy with anyone else.

He said that on occassion she'd call him 'daddy' while they were out and about, in cars, shopping, etc.

He said that she came to work once dressed up like a little girl wearing a plaid skirt, blouse and ponytails.

He said that they had only two fully undressed sexual encounters that did not involve intercourse but did involve her asking if 'daddy' was going to spank her now. Which he did. Although he maintains that was very brief and not the theme of the two encounters.

I've asked him on numerous occassions to explain what their fantasy looked like. He said it didn't look like anything. I said surely the two of you (or even one of you) must have talked about the fantasy in some detail to set a stage for future expectations. Didn't you talk about what turned you in within the fantasy? He accuses me of making much out of nothing. That they never talked about it.

I find this hard to believe. If I'm talking with my lover about a romantic fantasy I'd like to have with him we'd be on the top of a mountain watching the sunset, drinking champagne and watching shooting stars, then I'd unbutton his shirt, lead him to the blanket....you get the point. Doesn't this work the same way in role playing fantasy?

I'm guessing at this point that because their two fully undressed sexual encounters didn't involve intercourse but did involve daddy spanking little girl, intercourse was being saved for a later time when little girl was ready for it (or something like that).

Can someone get my thinking straightened out and explain what this was? How likely am I getting the whole story of their fantasy sex? Thanks.

I don't quite understand the question about "what the fantasy looked like" - so I may be answering the wrong question. Maybe some people are very visual with their fantasies: specific location, dress, etc. like your mountain fantasy. Other fantasies may not be visual, but based on activities - spanking a naughty girl for instance - but with no fantasy of the particular setting. I think that the type of fantasy is less important than that he had an affair at all. Lots or people have various fantasies - this doesn't sound all that uncommon. Maybe I don't understand what you are asking?
