Giant hail storm just took out my house!

6 broken windows, all screens shredded and two broken windshields!

Here's some hail I picked up out of the yard:

No WAY!!! That is freaking CRAZY!!! Sucks big time with all those broken windows, it doesn't sound like you will be the only one.

Our little town has pretty much had it's economy wiped out by the housing collapse, so I suppose this is good for the windshield repair guys, the glass shop and probably roofers and siders. (trying to look on the bright side, haha)

I hope no one was hurt, I can't imagine what happened to the people out running and biking!

Oh my gosh...those are some serious hail balls. Sorry to hear about your house and cars. Mother Nature can be brutal.

I know! I was just heading outside to ride my bike across town and the wind kicked up so I thought, well, I'll wait a few minutes and see what happens....then WHOOSH SMASH!!!
There were a ton of sirens going off just after, I hope it was people's automatic alarms and not anyone hurt. But it was a nice day and tons of people were out, so I can't imagine that no one got hurt. yikes.

So we went from 45° last week to 90° on Monday to this today. Probably will snow tonight and then be 100°+ by sunday. haha

I can't imagine getting hit with one of those suckers. Anyone see that youtube vid of that hail storm filmed hitting that swimming pool? It was crazy!
