Hi everyone...

so its my boyfriends birthday coming up and we have decided to go away for a long weekend - staying in UK but just spending some quality time together.

We have been booked in a top notch hotel ...

now i want to make it the best bday ever...i hve his bday present already so thats sorted.

Any ideas on how to make the room look extra special? What to wear? Any ideas on good places to eat out and what to do ? xxx

Not being in the UK makes it a little tough for me to make recommendations about dinner and activities.

I can suggest a few things though.

Rule out your old flannel nightgown. He's probably already seen you in it a hundred times. Treat yourself (and him of course) to a nice comfy lacey teddy or short night shirt. He just might like that.

Have a nice bottle of champagne or wine in the room before you guys check in. It'll save you from having to get up to tip room service. Also a little fruit or something light to snack on would fit the bill.

Remember you're staying in the room also. If you want some nice flowers in there, put them in there. Also, if there's a particular fragrance you like, don't be afraid to use it. You want to feel just as sexy and alluring yourself as you want to show to him.

Most of all, enjoy your time together. It's not what you do, it's who your doing it with.

One deco idea would be to have room decorated with flowers. Most men are not used to receive them.
And this does provide the element of surprise

Else, having the bed decorated with petals of roses in a shape of a heart is quite good too..

On the dress-code and beverage departments, I would say that the only thing that matters really is the Love in your eyes when looking at him. This may sound cliché, but it speaks volumes for the beauty of the occasion...
