I visited, out of curiosity, a Men's Health Forum. Sad to say it was very basic, just dealt with the mechanics of male health and not much else. I like this Women's Forum because we get to deal with the personal and emotional issues that go with the mechanics. I especially like the way the ladies here welcome our male viewpoints and don't feel like we are poking our noses in. x

There was an attempt at revival of MH a few months ago. Many members registered there to generate traffic, but quickly figured it was a waste and never went anywhere. There is a big ole long thread about it somewhere in the lounge.

I too appreciate that the ladies here make the men feel welcome. I know that as long as I follow the forum rules I can stay here as long as I want. I think that the vast majority of the posters here really do want to help and share.

I only looked at it a few times, but the comments by some of the guys seemed juvenile.

    Default Chicken and Egg...

The quality of this forum has a lot to do with the quality of the posts.
And the Administrators and moderators have established and are applying the guidelines.
All together this helps to keep this place tidy

I am sure there are many men looking for such a place,

For the men's forum to pick up some steam there has to be a fair amount of men, willing to play the same role, and produce the same quality as we have here, and dedicate the time to support, post and look after.
It's like thinking that all good men are in relationships
For the men's forum, all good men are too busy to dedicate time and energy to look after the place lol

I am a male and come here often. I stated this in my intro so everyone can know. I have found (as you have) that Men's forum lack............ pretty much any real emotion? I think many men have a hard time expressing their feelings, or at least asking help from other men, I know I do. I think I get a legitimate answer from a woman, not just what I (and by I, I mean men) want to hear. I don't know. I feel that I am not taken as serious. Guy's don't really ask their friends for input on really tough subjects. Just know that I am thankful of all the women here. Thank you for letting me have somewhere to ask those tough questions.

    Thumbs up

I have found the men on this forum very responsive.
I look forward to seeing how they feel/react to a subject. If it be
mine or anothers, i am pleased they are comfortable sharing with each other...
