So I was debating on selling things from Avon since they have some awesome stuff but I'm unsure if I could succeed at doing it. Does anyone else sell Avon as either a side job or a full time thing? If so, do you get good business out of it and stuff?
I just want some opinions before I jump into something I regret later.
    Thanks!

Working for Avon can be very hard work. Representatives profit 20p out of every pound. To make a profit you would have to represent a large area with plenty of people who are willing to purchase. It can be very enjoyable, but it can also be a nightmare. Nearly every stock delivery avon leave items out/put wrong item in. Then you have customers who NEVER put the brochure back outside for collection. I remember one lady, ordered around £250 worth of avons cheap jewelery. She then went through nearly every box, and inspected everything. I mean she took everything out of the box, checked it over, then put it back in. After taking nearly an hour to go through around 75 boxes, she decided she only wanted 5 of them!!!
It can be good fun, sorting through boxes of shower gels ect, sniffing them and getting discounts on them if you do decide to buy. Being able to purchase 3 small sample vials of fragrance for 60p. It also can be profitable. Its well worth a go. Its very sustainable

Well I run my own little small business as well but it's not going good and I figured I could do something like Avon on the side while I look for a better job but it sounds tedious. Guess I'll look into it more.

It would be much easier to do if you were planning on using a car to drop off brochures and products As a full time job, with a little bit of enthusiasm it can be really profitable

I sell Avon.. Have been doing it for about a year. I haven't made much money. I do like the products and do buy a lot myself. If you are a good salesperson you could make money. I do love when my Avon box comes filled with goodies.. I started in an area I've only lived for a couple months so that makes it hard, not knowing people.

Nothing to lose only cost $10.00 to start up and you can also be an E Rep

My mom sews for a lady who sells Avon.
She told me the other day that the lady puts out a box on her front porch that people will drop their orders into and then she'll deliver the stuff to the person. She doesn't live to far from here though so I don't know. It's just another crazy idea I had that probably wouldn't work to well anyway. Like I said, I have a small business myself (just online) and it's not doing to good.

I would say give it a go. You may suprise yourself! If you do it well and put a bit of effort in, you could make £400-£500 each time you deliver products. Its a great way to meet new people

I'll think about it a bit more. An extra $500 here and there would definately be nice

I just have a question or two!
I'm looking for a new purse and found one in one of the older catalogs. It was the July 24th catalog. I found a bag in there (page 117) that I would love to get. Would it still be possible that I can order it? It says Special so was it only for a little while?

Go to their website, put in the catalogue numbers of the items you want and it will tell you if they are available to buy.
