Stupid me screwed this one up and I guess that is both figuratively and literally.

For someone who doesn't know what a kegelmaster looks like, it looks like this.

when it enters you, it is screwed shut. Then you slowly unscrew it, it opens up inside of you. there are springs in between the part that opens. You use it to exercise your kegel muscles.

I'm very tight inside. I have only used this a few times but I was planning to start reguarly. It took me a few minutes to slowly slide it inside of me. Before i put it in, i saw that you screw it clockwise to open it. I was holding it the opposite way, stupid me, and it is suppose to unscrew counterclockwise.

When inside me, I didn't feel much resistance and I went to tighten it up again but what I didn't realize was, was that I was unscrewing it, not tightening it. the way I realized this was I saw a bit of the screw and how the knob was working itself off. Now that is strange because the more in opens, I shouldn't see the screw. It would usually stay to the edge and instead you would see the screw on the inside. (obviously you can't see that but would if you were opening it when it wasn't inside you.

I know I'm not explaining this well but what I'm saying is, the kegelmaster was pushing against my insides but my insides walls were not giving. You would think that I would have felt pressure when it was inside me, but I wasn't. But now I'm hurting inside. sort of like cramping. I don't think I hurt anything, just strained my muscles that never usually work because I'm so tight in there. I'm not bleeding or anything. i don't think I explained this well but what I'm trying to figure out, that I couldn't have done any harm, could i?

If all it does is slowly open and close then the worst that you could have done was some tissue bruising, or the muscle strain as you mention. Sure it could have been worse but you would have felt sharp pain and likely blood but since that did not happen I would say you just have some minor issues.

Thanks for replying ItsASecret. No sharp pain, no bleeding. I'm guessing I'll be sore for a bit but I learned my lesson on how not to turn it!!

I've used one for a few years. I just use the screw nut to kind of cap the the threaded part, hold it closed and insert it. Never had any problems. I asume you are using one spring to start with? That doesh't provide much resistance and shouldn't do you any harm. Probably you are just not used to having anything in your vagina?
You might try starting with no springs, just insert the device and use your PC muscles to grip and release it. After a few days try one spring in the first position.
I have found it very effective.

WC, yep, just one spring. I didn't realize it was letting it get wider and wider. I thought it was tightening up but couldn't figure out why it wasn't tightening. I thought I was turning it the right direction but soon found out I wasn't. I wasn't feeling any pressure so I'm guessing it wasn't spreading out inside me. It had no room to spread out because I"m so tight in there. I'm not use to having anything in my vagina. It was only for a few minutes but now I'm sore. But there is no bleeding so I guess I'm ok.

I think I'll wait a few days before I try the no spring. Thanks for the tip.

Just be consistant, like any exersize it takes time to build the muscles. You know this affects urinary control too. Before long you'll be up to 3 or 4 springs!

Imagine if they had late night infomercials for that like they had for Thighmaster.

LOL I wouldn't put it past them. How else do people know about it? After all they talked about it on Jay Leno show before. I think it was one of the women from Desperate Housewives who uses it. They had it posted on YouTube. So if they can talk about it on Leno, why not an infomercial!
