None and all of the above.
I value intelligence, strength of characture and physical - not into the muscle bound thing but a guy I was stronger than wouldn't fly - zero attraction. Got to be healthy too.
I've always liked bikes and have had biker freinds for many years but am not into real 'bikers' as relationship material - not my lifestyle.
I have real cowboys and farmers in my family, they are hard workers and I respect them greatly but it's not really my lifestyle either. I do like the look of the real deal.
People in my family have hunted and fished for generations as a means of putting food on the table. I don't see it as a drinking event or a justification for a powder puff truck. (always wonder what they are compensating for)
While a man can look really good all dressed up in a suit, I'm not into 'suits' and men with hands softer than mine. I work with tools, my hands show it (so do my toes, I dropped the edge of a full sheet of 1" CDX on my middle toe today - ouch - that may be another nail gone- sigh, I would really like to have all my toe nails at the same time for a change)
Truth is what attracts me has been all over the board because it's the whole man, not a look or affectation. A man who is too set into any one idea of a lifestyle would be hard to take long term because I require some flexibility to deal with. I can wake up one morning and say. "I need more purple in my life" and start to paint things purple (have done this, I have nice dark purple book cases in my office. Or announce that I need more color and replace all the towels with lovely deep colors. Or put glow in the dark stars all over the ceilings in star paths or need an abundance of flowers or to start wearing skirts. You just never know what, other than love and homemade bread, what you are likely to get. Some men ( I call them rut men) really can't handle this or things like a sudden desire to have sex in the car or out on the deck or go roll down a hill.
A man who tries to contain or control me can really set me off balance and make me sad. All I really need is to be loved and just go with the flow.
We can only learn to love by loving. - Iris Mudoch, British writer
