I NEVER get a chance to sit for a couple hours and watch a movie, but I'm thinking I'll pick up a couple of them and a couple of nights after the kids go to bed this week, hubby and I will plop down in our bedroom and watch some movies.

What were the last few movies you saw? We're not really picky, action, comedy, anything.

I've been feeling a bit homesick these past few weeks, so I've been watching a lot of nostalgia-filled films... Like Princess Bride, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Liar Liar (nevermind they all have the same actor in it, hehe). Um... the LOTR trilogy, Shanghai Noon (LOVE that movie, so funny, even a decade later)...

The new Alice in Wonderland movie is pretty cool, recently out on DVD. Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus also good (Heath Ledger's official last film). Sherlock Holmes.

District 9 (though quite heavy on the heart ).

    Shutter Island

I've watched a few animated ones too, for the lightheartedness, not sure if it's a couple's thing though!

Anyway I'll come back if I think of something else. Inception is worth going to the theater for, if it's still out.

My husband just made me sit down and watch Tootsie because I'd never seen it, lol. It was pretty good! Before that was Easy Virtue and 500 Days of Summer

Oh - I remember reading about that Imaginarium one and I LOVED Heath Ledger. I did actually buy Sherlock Holmes, just haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Never heard of Easy Virtue or 500 Days of Summer, I'll have to check those two out.

The New Daughter with Kevin Costner. It wasn't all that good.

A good one is the The Dark Knight. Inglorious Basterds is also good.

Oh yeah, Inglorious Basterds... I remember hearing about that one. That one will go on the list too.

Oh gosh that's right. We also just finished watching The Gamersorkness Rising....now if you don't know any geeks or are a geeky person yourself, you probably won't find it as hilarious as I did. If you DO know gamers, geeky people, those who play WOW or Dungeons and Dragons...you MUST watch this movie!

We are in this period where my husband would suggest a nerdy or a weird, an off the wall movie and I go, "sure, go ahead and rent it", and we'd watch it week nights or weekend evenings.

Some of the movies we've seen are:

    Office Space
I Love You, Man ( because Rush us there)
    Bill and Silent Bob
Dogma (because Silent Bob is there) 

    The Last Samurai
    Schindler's List

500 Days of Summer (mostly Regina Spektor sings were used)

These are some of our querky choices and more to come...
