I love listening to music, but some of the stuff they are making these days is nothing compared to the 80's!
I think the 80's music was the best! And it's still played today! 30 years later

So whats your favourite 80's song?

I think 60s music is the best. All the Beatles' songs, and then psychedelic gems like "Incense and Peppermint"... mmmmmm...

But I love 80s songs too, one that pops into my head is "Don't You Forget About Me." It makes me think of a very young and delicious James Spader. (Don't even talk to me about how he looks now, UGH.)

Mine is Aron Neville & Linda Ronstadt- I don't Know Much.
This is because it makes me happy, that me and my partner of an age gap relationship can relate to it.
This song always makes me smile

I think we should choose the song we like the most and give the reason why, or the memory it makes us think of

Since they just had the 25th anniversary and it's one of my faves...Don't you (forget about me) by Simple minds from the movie "the Breakfast Club" I loved everything about the movie. It helped I was in HS at the time and identified with the geeks...

"Major Tom" because it reminds me of dancing badly with my friends in bars while teaching in Korea!

The 80s had some fun music, there really wasn't much protest stuff or angst, it was just fun. I liked a lot of it, Adam Ant was a favorite. Goody Two Shoes.

I think it has to be....

Cyndi Lauper- The Goonies R Good Enough

I sooo love that song so much. Just reminds me of more innocent times. 1985.....playing Atari and listening to Cyndi Lauper. Such a great song. Also that Goonies movie just rocks. That song just totally rocks tho.

Also when it comes to the 80's I love Hall and Oates lol. Some Def Leppard too.

the 70's are my favorite decade of music however.
