Question for the guys about masturbation.

I recently split up with my husband and a major part of our problems were surrounding sex.

I'm just wondering how often do most men masturbate? I know that masturbation is a healthy thing but my ex used to masturbate at least once a night, maybe twice, even if we had sex. I always wondered if this was normal or not.

I'd appreciate any input from ladies and gents who are knowledgeable about this topic. Thanks.

As long as a man doesn't prefer masturbation to having sex, I'm not sure if there is such a thing as normal. Some guys go three times a day and some once every three days.

Not particularly unusual. As Tex said, only a problem if it is interfering with your sex life. If you gave him a choice of sex or masturbation (at that time) would he take sex?

Yes, he would take sex over masturbation but then he would masturbate afterwards as well.

I think it's a bit surprising but not really out of the ordinary. Guys I know masturbate at least twice daily. Are you satisfied with the sex part though? Because it would be more alarming if he's pleasured himself too much but failed to please you in the process.

Depends on your partner, sometimes it makes for an easier life if you see to yourself.

I don't think any guy would choose it over a helping hand from a partner.
