Ireland or Scotland
Ireland or Scotland
For me it's DEFINITELY #1 Scotland and #2 Ireland.
English (not USA) and Spanish
Not sexy....Asian, Russian, African
England. It's their own language after all![]()
Canadian. I can understand it eh....no but really I like the Scottish accent - Sean Connery helped with that.
I was watching tv the other day and there was this show called Coronation Street that came on, I spent a good 10-15 minutes trying to understand what they were saying. I apologize to those who are English, its just all those other phrases that totally mess everything up for people that have no idea what you mean by them and then incorporate the accent and it is like wwwhhhhaaaatttt is going on here! I just want to understand! lol. One phrase that stuck with me while watching that show, well my rendition of what I heard (which I am sure I butchered in trying to understandEngland. It's their own language after all): "Cheerio in the margin tick blocky for doats" - then the people in the pub scene were laughing like crazy. What does that mean?!? o.0
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
Ha Ireland's been mentioned a lot! I'm from Ireland.
Although there is so many different Irish accents.
ItsASecret.. "Cheerio in the margin tick blocky for doats".That makes no sense at all. I watch coronation street and I have never heard anything like that! lol.

lol I know. I feel so bad for being so confused over what I heard but that is honestly the phrasing that I remembered, which clearly was not whatever the writers of the show wrote haha.ItsASecret.. "Cheerio in the margin tick blocky for doats". That makes no sense at all. I watch coronation street and I have never heard anything like that! lol.
Oh well, English accents are not so bad. David Beckham comes to mind when I think of a guy with the English accent![]()
