The debt to Social Security, or debt to our seniors, from stealing it over the last 40 years is almost 8 trillion.

It is getting pretty obvious that even if we raise taxes to unbearable levels for everyone and we cut spending in all areas to the bare bones we can not pay this much money back in even a generation. What is the solution?

Since it is fiat money, the answer is rapid inflation. Hey, maybe that goes along with the sex thing.

The ration of debt to GDP in the us isn't terrible, though it could be better. On possible source of money is to reduce healthcare spending. The US spends about 2.2Trillion $/year on healthcare (and growing fast), about 2X what is spent in Europe, but our health isn't any better. We could probably cut half that with only a minor decrease in health, and gradually pay back the debts.

The debt burden is huge and growing. Historical data suggests that at current levels, economic growth will be slow.
