I've been a daddies girl my whole life. Me and my mum never had a bond and he's been like both parents to me. He always stuck up for me, praised me, disciplined me and would always buy me suprise presents...he's the best dad in the world

They split up over a year ago and because my mum had control over the money side of the business, she's had all the money until the divorce went through (last week). So he's been living anywhere he can but mainly with his sister 4 hours away because he's had zero money. Me and my sisters are much closer to him then my mum. He's the nicest man ever and he's moving to Sri Lanka!! Then on to India. He says its too hard to not be able to see us and he needs to get away to clear his head.

I'm lost He leaves on Sunday and I feel like I'm losing a part of myself. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. He's going alone. I'm scared of flying so I cant visit, my sister wont have injections so she cant go, my eldest sister has a newborn baby so she cant go... I just can't believe its happening. I've tried to act tough for him but I'm really dying. I don't know how I'm going to say goodbye on Sunday

Can you keep in touch with him via Skype or email or something? Will he be moving back home after he "clears his head"? Things like this are never easy, but keep him in your heart, and keep in touch with him as often as possible. Reach out to your sisters for support, and I'm sure they will need your support as well.

He's leaving in really remote places so it'll be once a month or so. He'll come back for a while but he'll go back out there. I just can't believe its happening.
