Anyone else hate the gym posers?

This is one thing that really annoys me, and was wondering if it does anyone else?

I go to the gym to have a really good work out, and on most (if not every) visits to the gym i end up looking sweaty and rosy cheeked.

Anyone else do this?
My gym seems to be filled with girls who go to stand near the machines, and make curvy girls hate going to the gym just a little bit more.

That is a common view, isn't it?

I go to the gym to really workout (for an hour) as well. I work hard, I end up sweaty and panting for air... and here comes Mr. X and Y...looking at you, checking out gals...or gals doing the same thing... and same fit looking girls posing on the machines close to curvy girls who look rather intimidated.

Maybe they are afraid of their sweat being visible on their lulu clothes, or their hair being messed up, or sweat ruining the foundation they put on their face, it takes time to look pretty for a treadmill and apparently you cannot not look like a wanna-be model at the gym.

Oh yeah! What's with women who put on make up and work out? Sweat will just mess it up....unless you'll just be posin' baby!

lately i have been working out in the basement so hopefully this is not an issue for me.

THAT is what I don't understand! Gah! Seriously frustrates me, but I cannot stand gym's anyways, they just are ick, can't stand the men that frequent them either, they give me the jeebies... I'd much rather just go for a run, plus over the years, I've bought my own workout stuff here and there so I don't have to go into a gym.

Ahhh the gym eye candy... annoying. I wear my pjs sometimes, and sometimes I bother to comb my hair and dress cute... depends on my mood -- but I am in the gym to bust my rear end... no make up, no thank you. I go in my apt complex so 9 times out of 10 I'm the only one there. My bf goes to a regular gym and I won't joing with him despite him asking me to on numerous occasions because I don't care to work out in a disco night club setting equip with hoochie mamas and jersey shore type guys lol.

When I go to the gym, I don't usually sweat. But that is only because I use the gym for just a few upper body nautilus machines. I have the exercise bike at home and the weights for the legs are too heavy for me to use. But before I got my exercise bike at home, I use to go to the gym and spend a half of an hour on the bike. And I use to sweat. Last time I checked that is why you pay to go there. To get a work out. The ones that stand around and look pretty are probably the airheads also. LOL Just ignore them.

Think of it this way. They are wasting their money!

I would think a guy would want to know that a woman is not a wimp and can put enough effort into the exercise to sweat. If they don't, then who cares. I have never used my gym time to find guys. There are other places for that.

LMAO!!! EXACTLY!!! That's exactly what it is.

The more and more I read, it seriously makes me wonder how successful a women's only gym would be...

We have that here in our area. I haven't been into one, but it's still in business. I'm actually hoping that they'd open girlie classes like burlesque, belly dancing and pole dancing, but alas! The city is dominated by religious people/city council - the "holier than thou" kind. *sigh
