I am a huge music fan! What i'm do when i do ANYTHING is listen to music! Currently my favorite artists are the White Stripes, the Black Keys, Metallica(80s) and Atmosphere! They all bring their own little flare into the music industry!
The best part about Atmosphere however is they are still basically underground. You really can't find their albums in stores and if you do, you have hit the jackpot! Slug, the lead lyricist, is originally from Minnesota. His songs all have real meaning with real life experiences! I listen to these 4 bands the most because there is a little piece of me that they sing about. Atmosphere just has the words.. words that literally have brought chills and tears to my eyes. One of their songs called "That Night" and it's all about a 16 year old girl that was raped and killed at one of his shows in New Mexico. They never ever released the song as a paid song. It was more like a project that he did just to tell a story. They have never ever played the song live except i believe maybe one time as a memoriam to the girl that was killed. That song is like instant chills and tears!
White Stripes gets my weird side, the Black Keys gets my blue grassy side, Metallica can make my brain relax when i'm high stress-the louder the better.

When i'm not listening to these 4 favorite artists you'll catch me listening to Led Zeppelin, whom i consider to be the greatest band of all times; The Doors, i've been in love with Jim Morrison since 18 months old; and anything from the 30s 40s 50s and 60s! Great great eras in music!!
The only music i do not like is that of Nickelback and Sheryl Crow! I will give everything else a chance though!

Like: Classic rock from Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Tom Petty etc. I also like Kid Cudi and Eminem, and some random songs here and there from others but no real artist or group.

Dislike: Electronica, Metal, Indie, Children's pop I guess you can say (ie Beiber, Hillary Duff, Lindsey Lohan, Miley Cyrus etc), there are more but I cannot describe the kind of the music they make...it is annoying though

Love love love the Stones, Petty, Aerosmith, The Eagles!! Classic rock is all over my iPod! as is Eminem.. He is probably one of the only "main stream" rappers that i literally love every single song he has put out!
and i hear you about the "fluff" .. Beiber? I mean what is that?? How can that even be called music?

King George (Strait) is my favorite. I love slow country songs. Eminem is my boy too. His new album, A Beautiful Mind, is so real its scary. Zombie by The Cranberries is one of my fav. rock songs. I really love all music.

One of my friends is a HUGE George fan so i only got my taste for a few years ago but i love him, he's just got that voice..
Zombie is a great song! Somewhat underrated now a days though.. you don't hear about it a lot but it's just one of those 90's songs that's totally timeless!! Great picks!!

I love SO many different styles of music an artists. Pandora (the website) is my favorite site for music because you can type in any artist and hear songs from them and songs from other artists similar to them. Currently some of my stations are: U2, The Fray, Damien Rice, Mumford & Sons, Rhianna, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Sting, Usher, Trey Songz, Angus and Julia Stone, etc.

Oooo I'm a music lover as well. However I am limited in the genres of music I listen to; mostly modern rock and some alternative. I like Creed, Daughtry, Dishwalla, Evanescence, Finger Eleven, Hinder, Incubus, Linkin Park (although I'm not really a fan of their latest album), Nickelback (yes I love them, ok? Don't judge me!), Puddle of Mudd, Rev Theory, Saving Abel, Seether, Shinedown, Staind, Three Days Grace, Trapt, and 3 Doors Down.

Artists I've gotten into recently include: Cavo, Crossfade, Edgewater, Like a Storm, Lo-Pro, and 10 Years.
(going down the list of my iTunes here lol).

Currently my favorite band is Staind. Their music makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Not only is it awesome rock, but every single one of their songs is real and pumped with emotion. That's what I appreciate and like most about music, when it's not just written for entertainment, it has real emotion behind it and carries a powerful feeling with it. Staind does that with every album and every song, no joke. Their songs are never about sex, drugs or money... it's about life and emotional trials. The song "Zoe Jane" makes me cry every time, the lead singer wrote it for his daughter, and it reminds me of things my late father had once said to me when I was younger.

Although there are times when I do enjoy a good upbeat song that I can jam to once in a while. Too much emotion drains me lol.

OOoo, i like the older stuff too, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd (Love them) Super Tramp and so on.

i went to see the musical "Hair" not long ago, it was fantastic...

Mainly; Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, King George, Allan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Phill Vassar, Hank Jr, etc...
Alternately, I like some Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh, U2 every so often, as well as some Hiroshima, and Kitaro.
