I know you can't generalize all men, but is it common for men not to understand body image issues in women? I had posted an experience in a different category where a few males didn't seem to understand why a woman would find critical comments about physical appearance hurtful. Do you think this represents a lot of males?

IMHO, a woman wants to feel respect and admiration for a man if he needs to stand a chance.
