Hopefully everyone had a good Christmas dinner. What was your favorite dish? For me... it was the dressing, it had fresh sage sausage, apples, and pecans. Absolutely heavenly!

We had prime rib and honey ham with a lot of extras. My favorite was the prime rib, mine was from the center, blood red and an 1 1/2 inches thick with a big dollop of horseradish. YUM

If you want the world's best prime rib, go to "Chuck's Cellar" in Honolulu. My father loves that place and took us there at least twice a month.

Traditional Swedish Meatballs. Both my parents are from Sweden and my brother and I are first generation Americans, so at Christmas time we go back to our roots and enjoy the festive traditions of Sweden. Thanksgiving is a traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the traditional trimmings, butt Christmas is extra special.

My father spends a couple of days hand grinding the meats to his very particular specifications and then mother and dad spend another day or so shaping meatballs. This year, there were over 1,000 hand rolled meatballs made.

It's a true labor of love prepared by a couple old swedes who don't know any different.....

Yup, we did Prime Rib as well.
Favorite part? I'm always a complete nut for Cranberry Sauce - believe it or not. :0) just can't get enough of it.
