    I just wanted to send my prayers and thoughts to ALL of you in this forum who live in Australia who are dealing with, or know someone who is, the flooding in your country.

    I believe that I can speak for everyone in here when I say that we are thinking about you.

    To be honest, my concern is World Wide....

    Here in Australia, flooding in January, 19 degrees, then one beautiful "summer day", then back to cold, is scary.....

    Across the world, more snow than usual, icy roads, winds, when it used to be snow and calm...scary...

    Thanks for your prayers Seeker...I'm hoping the World isn't stuffed up and the prediction made for 2012, floods that wipe out Australia to start with aren't true.....or else I'm moving to NT, right smack in the middle of Australia away from the seas....

    I've heard reports here in the U.S. that the flooding in Queensland is "catastrophic" and is effecting enormous numbers of people.

    It is, tourists stuck, shops closed, tourists can't eat, ...It's getting better though..

    OOoo i have a dear dear friend that lives in Queensland, it's very bad there, she got stuck on new years eve because all her roads were flooded out, we manage to talk on the phone at least once a week and email every day.. she's going back to Sydney next week to go back to Uni..

    i'd give anything just to hold her one time..
