I managed to go from house work to hospital this morning after tripping over the vacuum lead , result instant broken left thumb !! so i am now sporting a nice cast from elbow to fingers and it hurts mind you the only consolation is my man makes a good nurse , well at least i can get out of house work for a while .

ouch! that must have hurt, i hope your thumb heals soon, becareful next time!

Hi patricias many thanks for the reply and yes it did and still does hurt , the doctor said i am going to be in plaster for about 4 weeks what joy !!
